Thank you to everyone who joined the contest. I was overwhelmed with the response I got. I wasn’t expecting that many entries. The contest is now officially closed, I will tally all the qualified entries and announce the winners Wednesday evening. Please bear with me as I want to double (triple) check all comments first, I don’t want to leave anyone out. It actually makes me anxious my husband teases is volunteering to take the blood pressure monitor from our drawer since he thinks I should check my blood pressure (lol).

Meeting Janet

Last Friday I met Janet Phillips. Yes her, the wonderful template designer from Scrapbookgraphics!!! Her family went here for a couple of days and I was able to meet them. I had dinner with her and the gang (oh the kiddos were great especially her sweet eldest daughter). After dinner we all went back to the hotel and when all the kids were in bed we went out again and have coffee at The Coffee Bean. We talked for hours about scrapbooking and being mommies. She inspired me to take more pictures Speaking of pictures, here we are…

I have a camera strap (pictured above) to give away. I ordered it online and while it is perfect in every way it is just too long for a petite gal like me. So rather than let it sit at the bottom of my closet I want to give it away so one lucky blog friend. Please note that this is a brand new camera strap, I’ve never used it because just one look I knew it wasn’t for me. I took a photo here with my little girl for viewing purposes

I can’t wait for The Lilypad Sale on Friday! I have seen some of the new products for Friday (because I won a contest during MSA’s first anniversary) and it is great. I’m excited to see the the BYOC collection and the new designer and guest designer too.

Birthday Layouts

My daughter is turning two in less than two months (sigh) and lately I’ve been in the mood to scrap her first birthday photos. I wish I could make an album but I’m really bad at themed albums, I can’t finish anything. Anyway here are the layouts I’ve done so far…

For the first two layouts I used Birthday Wish by Jofia Devoe and Holly Designs. It is such a great kit (I used it twice) and I really love how my layouts turned out. For the third layout I used the MSA Birthday collab that was given for free to all members during their first anniversary celebration (not available anymore).

This layout was for the Cookie Decorating Challenge at SSD. I used Stop! Jammer Time by Robin Carlton & MandaBean to create this page. The kit was really fun to use, so cute.

I used Just Too Funky by MandaBean & Zoe Pearn for this layout. The patterned papers are gorgeous.

Everything I used in this layout is from Tracy Ann Digital Art. I love the embossed paper background!
