December Daily

22 Nov

December is slowly creeping up on me and this year I’m not sure if I’m even going to attempt to do a December Daily album. I did it last year but halfway through I slacked and didn’t finish my album. It is still nice to look at the page I did last year though eventhough it wasn’t complete. Just seeing how much my little girl have grown through the photos makes me happy. So maybe I will attempt to do the album this year as well, only I will do it completely digital…who know maybe this year I will get to finish the album. I did a hybrid album last year and while I love it in the end when things get busy around the house as Christmas drew near I just didn’t have the time to sit down with my paper and glue. Maybe doing it all digital will make it a bit easier for me to push through with this project.

Lovin’ Stitches

20 Nov

I love putting stitching on my scrapbook pages, I think it’s the perfect finishing touch to a page. I have a lot of stitching packs on my scrapping stash but I’m looking to add new ones to what I already have. I saw these at Designer Digitals and thought these will be the perfect addition to already growing stash of stitches. Now if only I have the budget to shop right now….

Love You Because…

14 Nov

I’m so happy that I’m almost done with my little girl’s nursery school album and now I’m inspired to go make another album when I’m done with hers. I found these lovely set of templates by Ali Edwards at Designer Digitals and I thought it would be a nice project to do. Now if I can find photos for this type of album I would be happy to purchase the templates.

I don’t always put journaling on my scrapbook pages, not for the lack of trying but sometimes a wordart is really all my page need. I want to journal more on pages of course but there are pages that just calls for a few words or a quote and the photo(s) will speak for itself. These wordart sets by Ali Edwards of Designer Digitals are really great. I like Ali Edwards, I love her scrapbooking style and her photography. She’s one talented scrapbooker and storyteller and using her wordart on my pages gives it the finishing touch it needs.
