I need to start organizing our paper documents soon, the boxes are getting messy and I feel like I need a better organization system so everything can be arranged properly. I might consider purchasing a mmf drawer for important documents that we couldn’t afford to lose. I almost never through away any letter we receive in the mail so I have to sort those too and throw away those we don’t need to keep. I need a drawer that can fit below my desk though, I do not want to add clutter to our house, in fact as much as possible I minimize the amount of clutter around so it doesn’t pile up.

I was trying to find more about exercise videos online and I was glad there was a lot of information about it online. It was actually overwhelming that after a while I am at lost as to which one is best for someone like me. No non 12 step, I need a lot of steps…little steps if there is to help me get back on track and be on my way to having a regular exercise routine. From no exercise to a regular exercise is a huge step for me so I need to take it slowly to make sure I go through with this. It’s not going to be easy and I want to pace myself.

This lovely kit is a new release by Cori Gammon at The Lilypad. I love the soft colors of this kit, the paper patterns are soft and pretty as well. The elements are really nice too. I especially love the flowers, oh I have a thing for flowers since mostly I scrap girly layouts. I can’t wait to use this kit.

Getting insured

We were considering getting a life insurance policy for us next year. My parents talked to us about this when we went home for vacation a few weeks back. I know this is something we should think about as it offers us protection and it’s not something that would cost too much per year (depending on the policy of course). We still have to see our finances and make sure we can manage to add another payable on our list of bills to pay. Being in a one income household, sometimes it’s hard to budget.

How I wish losing weight is that easy that I won’t need to consider the idea of getting a thermogenic fat burner for myself. I didn’t have a problem about my weight growing up, back in college I can eat whatever I want and my weight would still be the same, that all changed when I moved here in SG and it changed some more when I gave birth to my little girl. After I stopped breastfeeding that’s when things make a turn for the worst and here I am now struggling with my weight. It is hard when I never regularly exercise ever in my life and now I’m trying to include it to my daily routine. If I can just have the discipline to push through and not give up on exercise I know I can shed my excess pounds, if only it is that easy.

Ohhh when I saw this kit at The Lilypad I knew I had to have it!

This is such a great kit, perfect for a coffee addict like me. It has lots of other lovely doodles and elements by Kate and Gina that I can use for girly pages of my little princess having her favorite cakes and cupcakes. I can’t wait to use this!

Giving the skinny

I don’t really consider myself as vain person, I do the bare minimum when it comes to skincare and spending money on beauty products and makeup. I’m likely to agree to try a natural acne treatment than to spend a few hundred bucks for a new cream. Luckily I seldom get a bad case of acne that I don’t have to worry about visits to dermatologist and getting medication. I just have to be more conscious in keeping up with my beauty regime no matter how little I do to avoid the need for acne treatments.

Trying to be healthy

I woke up early this morning, I knew I should have taken this time to scrap while everyone else is sound asleep but instead I found myself reading about diet pill reviews online. I’m really hoping get back into shape before this year ends and I found websites that offers a lot of helpful information on weight loss and diets. I want to star eating healthy by eating more fruits, I know I can do more drastic changes but that would just be setting myself up to fail so I’m doing it one little step at a time. Adding fruits to our meal is a lot easier than say adding more veggies or eliminating meat so for now that’s what I’m going to do. I hope because of this effort my little girl will learn to eat fruits too and not just drink juices.

I love Zoe’s stuff and these two new kits are no exception. I love the papers and the elements in these kits, I already used the girl version of the alphabet soup and I know I can make the boy kit work for the little girl’s photos as well.

Getting enough rest

I’ve been getting enough sleep the past couple of days and I feel good and refreshed. It takes a toll on my skin when I sleep late and I know that a good night’s sleep (or several days of good night’s sleep) is better than any anti wrinkle cream in the market today. I do use an eye cream every night and I would say it helps too but nothing beats sleep and lots of water in my book. I’m now ready to work and start scrapping our vacation photos and do some work too.
