I got…

Monday, August 11th, 2008

these from the sale at The Digichick

Now aren’t these cute? Of course it would totally be different if I ask about used Harleys. Anyway I wanted to come back and get more when the sale was on but the chances of me using all these is slim since I belong to amazing creative teams. I’m shopping for fun so I have to set a budget somewhere. I’m happy with my purchases though. I’ll just wait for another sale.

Lucky Dip May

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

Have you seen Tracy Ann’s new Lucky Dip? I always look forward to her Lucky Dip every month, I’m never disappointed. I haven’t picked up this one yet but I will. I’m having so much fun using her kits on my layouts. It is so colorful and versatile. I have to go now, I need to checkout the online college courses I saw on a certain website this morning.

My NSD 2008 Loot

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Yup a very late post about my NSD loot. I enjoyed shopping a lot, didn’t win any contest but it was so much fun seeing so many sales and new products.

April BYOC at The Lilypad

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

I always save some paypal money for TLP’s BYOC each month because I’m sure I’ll be needing it once I see their latest goodies and this month is no different. Here’s what I got from their April BYOC.

I wanted more but I had to limit myself to these and I love each one of them. I’ve already made a layout using my loot and here it is…

This won’t be the last layout for sure. I just need to find time to actually scrap, I’ve been sick this week and my DD too so I was off the computer for a couple of days and now that I’m feeling better I can’t wait to start scrapping again.

Sweet Keepsakes

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

This is so exciting, Sweet Shoppe Designs launched their Sweet Keepsakes line today. They now  carry lots of different chipboard books from Basic Grey and Maya Road along with that are gorgeous quickpage albums to make hybrid scrapping a breeze. Oh I have to get those sweet rewards points so I could snag me a huge discount to go shopping.

I LOVE WST!

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

I went shopping there for my birthday (I only shopped at that store) and I love everything I got. I wish I could have gotten more but that’s all the budget I have, so here’s my loot…

The Lilypad March BYOC!

Friday, March 7th, 2008

Is out today and of course I did some shopping, I’m really trying to spend less of scrapping stuff but SSD and TLP gets me all the time. I couldn’t not get items from these two shops (even if I try). So for this month I got…

Soft Spring Ribbons by Natalie Braxton

Spring Alpha Beads by Natalie Braxton

Cherry Blossom by Jenna Desai

Star Strings by Amy Martin

Knotty Ribbons by Amy Martin

Barely There Alpha by Amy Wolff

I love all the things I bought. You can’t really go wrong from TLP, great products in that store. I got all the things I wanted from the BYOC, I’m not going back there again (lol I don’t want to spend more that I already have). Anyway I’ve used the Star Strings as soon as I got them. Here’s my latest LO for a challenge at SSD…

I have other layouts I wanted to post but this is enough for now. Have a great weekend!

Hybrid Stuff

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

I got these from my local scrapbook store last weekend…

Basic Grey Keyplate Album

Maya Road Home Ring Album

I’m itching to really get my hands on a hybrid project and these two albums would be perfect for what I have in mind. The Home Ring Album is a bit tricky since I haven’t seen any quick page sets for this particular type of album so I guess I have to do it myself. I’m thinking of maybe scanning a page of this chipboard album and make that the basis as I do the pages. The keyplate album on the other hand will be a breeze to make since Susan Bartolini have this keyplate album at her store at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I got the album for free when I bought the matching kit, it was a great bargain.

I also bought different kinds of ribbons matching the colors of the album so I could tie them to the ring once the album is finished. Now all I have to do is select cute photos of my daughter.

SSD Turns Two!

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

One of my favorite stores turns two today and they’re having a SALE! So be sure to check out Sweet Shoppe Designs, you don’t want to miss out on the wonderful new products released today. For me the 2008 Quarterly Assortment  Vol. 1 is worth every penny. It is loaded with goodies from all the designers at a very low price.

You Gotta See This

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

I love Amy Hutchinson’s January Kit - Heaven Sent! Take a look…

You can also get the matching solids when you purchase the kit…

Now I have to make time to actually scrap using this kit. I have about three CT LOs I need to work with at the moment so this one will have to wait.
